Construction on NID’s Banner
Cascade Pipeline project continues on Banner Mountain
during good weather conditions between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. NID is coordinating vehicle
traffic in an effort to help families get to the bus stop and school on time.
Therefore, vehicles traveling into town on will have an open lane until 8:00 AM.
Raw water pipeline installation on Red Dog Cross Road continues. Watch for flaggers to safely direct traffic
through the construction zone, and expect delays up to twenty minutes.
Wings of Morning
Drive area residents will need to use the Sesame Street detour as Wings of Morning
Drive is closed to through traffic between Clipper Creek Road and the western route
to Banner Lava Cap Road.
The Sesame Street
detour is available with minimal delays. Please continue to watch for signage
and equipment as construction equipment and trucks will continue to enter and
exit from both ends of the road. Turnouts are available along the
alignment route allowing for passing residential traffic.

Gravel road base installation
for the road surface will begin this week along Wings of Morning Drive in preparation for the rainy
season. This road surface will be
maintained throughout the winter season by NID.

Restoration work at the creek crossing
