Construction on NID’s Banner Cascade Pipeline project continues on Banner Mountain during good weather conditions. Watch for construction signage and flaggers as they help safely direct traffic through the following construction zones. Treated water tie-in installation will take place on Wednesday, June 8th, at the intersection of Idaho Maryland Road and Banner Lava Cap Road. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic; expect twenty minute delays.
Raw water pipeline installation will continue along the east end of Wings of Morning Drive. Construction equipment and trucks will enter and exit Wings of Morning Drive from the west end until the project is completed. Turnouts are available along the alignment route allowing for passing residential traffic.
Final work to vaults on Lee Lane will take place this week. Traffic will be limited to one lane while construction activities are underway. Minimal delays are expected, however they may be up to twenty minutes in duration.
Vault installation, joint sealing, and testing will be scheduled on Banner Lava Cap Road, between Idaho Maryland Road and Wings of Morning Drive, weather dependent.
