2/28/11 Traffic Update (weather permitting ?????)

Construction on NID’s Banner Cascade Pipeline project continues on Banner Mountain.  Joint sealing and testing will continue inside the pipeline on Idaho Maryland Road and Banner Lava Cap Road, weather dependent. Traffic will be limited to one lane; expect minimal delays.  Watch for construction signage and flaggers as they help safely direct traffic through the construction zones.

If you need further information, contact Hugh Gordon, Project Ombudsman, at (530) 263-4352 or email: Hugh-lu@att.net

Notice:
Activity to start soon on Wings of Morning Drive,

Nevada City Engineering will be staking the temporary construction easement (TCE) and marking trees to be removed with a blue ring prior to the start of logging activity.  NID inspectors will be on site full-time during the tree removal process to ensure Robinson Enterprises’ employees stay within the TCE and to take care of any unforeseen events should they occur.  Orange fencing delineating the TCE will go up after tree removal and brush clearing is completed.
