Speeding trucks

I want to mention that there have been a few times on Idaho-Maryland that the trucks coming up ( and going down) are speeding and I have had to honk at them to slow down.  I think they are trying to get speed up in the low part so they don’t slow way down when the hill gets steeper on the way up.  On the way down they are loaded and would have a hard time stopping.  Regardless, they are going too fast and should watch the speed limits.

  1. We have said many times that NID and Teichert will not tolerate vehicles associated with this project travelling in an unsafe manner. The trucking dispatch company was forwarded this email and this issue is brought to them on an as needed basis. If you or others can get a name of the truck or license number we will address this directly with the trucking dispatch company. Each truck is an independent contractor and therefore can be taken off this job at any time, if they are not being safe.
