7/12/11 Traffic Update for NID’s Banner Cascade Pipeline Project Construction

Construction on NID’s Banner Cascade Pipeline project continues on Banner Mountain during good weather conditions between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.  Raw water pipeline installation continues on Wings of Morning Drive east of Sesame Street. The east end detour on Wings of Morning Drive will be available for residential traffic as construction activities now block through use of the road. Construction equipment and trucks will enter and exit Wings of Morning Drive from both ends.  Turnouts are available along the alignment route allowing for passing residential traffic. No traffic delays are anticipated.
Work is nearly complete on Banner Lava Cap Road, Idaho Maryland Road, and Lee Lane; expect minimal delays while general cleanup is underway this week.  Flaggers will safely direct traffic through the construction zones; watch for signage.
